MoCo customer The Gallagher Group is one of the largest construction and property businesses in Kent, employing over 300 people.
From its Aylesford headquarters it offers a unique range of expert services, with an unrivalled reputation in property development, design and build contracting, plant and quarrying. It is also a local producer and supplier of Kentish ragstone natural limestone, aggregate and ready mixed concrete.
The group’s Head of IT, Chris Rimmington, defined a number of requirements when speaking with our Communications Consultant Andrew Marsh. He felt that their account was being poorly managed by their existing telecoms provider – and needed to be certain of dependable ongoing service and support. The new supplier also had to be able to offer mobile, fi xed and data services. And, like most businesses, The Gallagher Group wanted to achieve measurable cost savings.
Chris’s decision to use MoCo was not only based on the projected cost savings and high levels of support, though these were major contributors. He also felt happy to buy from a locally-based organisation with a proven trading heritage which could offer all aspects of modern day business communication.
Chris’s priority was to focus on the business’s mobile communications, where he felt the greatest improvements could be made. The initial order was for handsets, Blackberrys, data cards. Projected savings are in the region of £12,000 a year, with further cost benefits to come when MoCo start supplying the group’s fixed line services.
